Welcome to the Young Filmmakers' Academy, where young creatives aged 7-14 embark on an immersive journey into the art of mobile filmmaking and storytelling. Our vision is to empower children to skillfully craft narratives that uplift and inspire, aligning with values of truth, nobility, and purity (Philippians 4:8).
At the heart of our mobile filmmaking course lies the mission to cultivate redemptive storytelling skills, enabling children to not only discover their voices but also to express their perceptions of the world around them through the lens of a smartphone or tablet. Through collaborative mentorship, we envision a future where children of all ages are empowered to share their unique stories, fostering a community of compassionate storytellers.
The Young Filmmakers' Academy proudly partners with the Generous Generations (Gen-G) movement globally, an initiative dedicated to cultivating generosity in children. All media created through our program is shared on the Gen-G website (www.generousgenerations.org) contributing to the mission of inspiring and nurturing generous hearts in the next generation.
Join us in shaping the next generation of mobile filmmakers, as we walk alongside young minds, nurturing their talents and guiding them towards fulfilling the Great Commission through creative expression. Every moment spent with these children is an opportunity to sow seeds of inspiration and disciple future storytellers, leaving a legacy of empowered young leaders.
Are you ready to ignite creativity and make a difference through the power of mobile filmmaking and storytelling? Join us at the Young Filmmakers' Academy and let's embark on this transformative journey together.
PS: Parents, you're welcome to sit in on all or part of the training if you prefer to do so, as long as you know we may put you to work :-)
